Crystal Shawanda at Whispering Oaks

One of the most heralded voices in all of blues, Juno Award (Canadian Grammy) multi-award winning Blues artist Crystal Shawanda and her fabulous band come to Whispering Oaks near the Villages in an exclusive concert event – Saturday October 30th at 6PM. 

Opening the show will be Billboard blues charting blues artist Alex Lopez and his band The Xpress. Crystal and her band (featuring guitar wizard Dewayne Strobel) hail from Nashville and are touring the country dazzling audiences everywhere in support of her new critically acclaimed album “Church House Blues.”

Reviews have compared her to icons like Etta James and Koko Taylor. Crystal, a powerhouse blues vocalist and deeply soulful singer-songwriter, originally signed as a Country artist to RCA records where Crystal produced a Top 20 hit on Country radio and reached Top 20 on the Billboard Country Album Chart before the blues came a calling. She performed at the Presidential inauguration in 2013 and has toured extensively through out Canada and the US amazing audiences with her vocal and musical talent.
