LIVE AT WHISPERING OAKS China Grove, The Ultimate Doobie Brothers Tribute & 37 Special An outdoor concert event UNDER THE SHELTER OF THE LARGE PAVILION Thursday May 25th 6:00pm - 8:00pm MarEmil Music in partnership with Whispering Oaks Winery and Event Center bring you a concert event that willhave you dancing in the aisles, a tribute to the iconic music of the Doobie Brothers & 38 special! by one of thebest national level tribute bands around today: China Grove  China Grove is a fantastic Doobie Brothers tribute band who’s repertoire spans the many decades and styles of the legendary Californiagroup.  From the jammin’ rock of “Long Train Runnin” to the jazzy “Takin’ it to the Streets”, to the Grammy award winning pop of “What a FoolBelieves”, this group blazes through a sizzling set of memory-jarring classic hits and album cuts with stunning accuracy and passion.Let’s just say these guys “bring it”!  The band is led by vocalist/ guitarist J Todd Plant, who fronted a band featuring Doobie Brothers alumni Chet McCracken, the lateCornelius Bumpus and the late Dave Shogren, doing the hits of the Doobies all across America. He’s also worked with members ofChicago, Steely Dan, Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult, Firefall, Marshall Tucker Band, Tom Petty Band, Rick Derringer, and was the voice ofHulk Hogan’s fight song “American Made”.
